More conferences

Just noting that I gave the paper outlining my research to two more conferences, the University of Wollongong Creative Arts Postgraduate Week (5 September) the and the Museums Australia Performing Arts Special Interest Group at the University of Adelaide (28 September). Both very well received but I will be glad to put this paper to bed with my final PhD confirmation seminar for the University of Canberra on 23 November. It’s been invaluable giving the talk to audiences with different specialisations, as it is difficult with cross-disciplinary research to be sure that you have covered the literature in sufficient depth for each element. I was nervous as hell in Wollongong in front of Sarah Miller, Chris Ryan, Derek Kreckler and others but they were gentle with me.
