Dirt Babylon footage

The plan from the start was to document Dirt Babylon and add it to the Splinters archive as a means of showing the continuity of the artists and ideas through to the present, and to give the new generation of Canberra artists a practical demonstration of the collective approach to performance making. Masses of photos were taken and there were 2 documentary film crews, one from the University of Canberra and one from Canberra Institute of Technology. The video will gradually go up here and on the eventual permanent archive site. In the meantime I will start posting snippets, beginning with this short excerpt shot by Craig Brown.
